Managing Retention Rules

Rules on system objects are created by navigating to them in the web interface and choosing Retention tab.

• Only retention administrators can create or modify rule setup. All the users can see retention tabs when they navigate the system.

• Only retention administrators have access to the retention node in administration tree.

• Rules immediately become inactive if the active flag is turned off on the rule or if the definition becomes inactive.
