Thru Server 9.4.2 Release Notes May 17 2017

SPECIAL SAML SSO URLS AND COMPARISON TABLE

Special Ticket server URLs [SAML REQUEST] and [SAML IDP REDIRECT] used for Single Sign-On by IP address range and SAML2.0 identity providers in release 9.4.2 requires SAML20Mixed mode.

Previous versions of the server required ThruSSO mode to use this feature. Sites that use special SAML URLs should be switched from ThruSSO mode to SAML20Mixed mode.

The following table summarizes the use of auto-login sign-in feature based on IP address range under different authentication modes in Thru portal.

ALLOW TO USE EMAIL ADDRESS OR USERNAME TO AUTHENTICATE ON REQUEST LOGIN PAGES OF THRU PROTECTED EMAILS

Full Thru site users now can use email address or username registered in Thru site.

LANGUAGE SELECTOR AVAILABILITY
Language selector is available on all pages in Thru portal

LONG EMAIL DOMAINS IN REQUEST LOGIN PAGES
Long email domains like .solutions are supported in Request Login pages in Thru email and Thru publishing links.

LARGE FILE DOWNLOAD OPTIMIZATION
Files downloaded over HTTPS in Thru web portal or by Thru add-ins/connectors are downloaded directly from the storage repository if a threshold is exceeded instead of using the front-end caches, that accelerates the download process. Default threshold is set to 2GB
