Amazon S3

To create an Amazon S3 endpoint:

  1. Click Organizations.

  2. Select an organization.

  3. Click Endpoints.

  4. Click the + Add Endpoint button.

  5. Enter the name in the Endpoint Name * field.

  6. Select Amazon S3 from the Type * drop-down.

  7. Select Region Choose the region where this S3 bucket is located

  8. Select Access Key Enter the access key for this S3 account.

  9. Enter the Secret Key to access this S3 account.

  10. Enter the Bucket Name

  11. Enter a description for the endpoint.

  12. Click the Save button.

Thru also supports Non-Amazon | S3-compatible endpoint types - You are also require to provide the S3 Service URL

Our current S3 configuration still uses ACL requests.

  1. Enabled ACL on bucket

  2. Provide READ_ACP permissions

  3. Make sure at least one of WRITE, WRITE_ACP, FULL_CONTROL permissions is also provided

It's important to note that utilizing Thru's SaaS service for outbound connections might necessitate the whitelisting of our IP addresses by the respective target endpoints. This proactive step helps ensure seamless and secure communication, allowing our service to reliably interact with designated external systems and deliver optimal performance.
