Thru FTPS Server

File Transfer Protocol over SSL (FTPS) is an extension to FTP. It uses Transport Layer Security (TLS) and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) cryptographic protocols to encrypt traffic. FTPS allows encryption of both the control and data channel connections either concurrently or independently.

FTPS servers for Thru FTPS Server operate over Port 21 (Control Channel) and Port Range 28000–30000 (Data Channel).

To create a Thru FTPS Server endpoint:

  1. Click Organizations.

  2. Select an organization.

  3. Click Endpoints.

  4. Click the + Add Endpoint button.

  5. Enter the name in the Endpoint Name * field.

  6. Select Thru FTPS Server protocol from the Type * drop-down.

  7. Enter a description for the endpoint.

  8. Note the example Public Url to connect to the Thru FTPS Server.

  9. Click the Save button.

After incorporating this endpoint type into a flow, create user accounts to enable access through the Flow Endpoint.
